Parts & Accessories Specialist
Our Parts & Accessories Assistant sells parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop or on the phone. Supports Parts & Accessories Specialist with parts & accessories inventory management.
Essential Duties includes the following:
Assists answering telephone
Assists customer at front counter and in the store
Returns customer phone call inquiries in a timely manner
Assists Parts Specialist in ordering parts for retail area, customer pay repair orders, stock repair orders
Maintains Bin Locations
Maintains well stocked, orderly and clean retail area
Receives orders; inspects parts
Verifies orders received are accurate and complete
Performs pricing function as required to ensure proper mark-up
Maintains a stocked, orderly and clean parts room (upstairs and main parts room)
Maintains efficiency in all manufacturer parts systems
Returns parts in a timely manner
Alphabetize parts tickets master file weekly
Monthly, review customer pay parts in parts room and re-call customers as a reminder. Parts not picked up will be returned to vendor.
Monthly, review service parts not used and communicate with SAs
Files all paperwork required in a timely manner
Stays informed of all new and improved products/parts (Northern, Bell, Stag & Other Vendors)
Maintains confidentiality of company & customer information
Maintains professional appearance in accordance with Uniform Policy
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe work area
Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.
This job requires individual to walk, bend, stoop, reach and work on computer for extended periods of time. Also must be able to lift 25-50 pounds (generally less but can be more) when assisting customers in the store or receiving or sending parts to customers or suppliers.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and timely utilizing procedures, guidelines and equipment as set forth by Greeneway RV. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
